Another Virtual Party? It's a Festivus Miracle!

If you know Springleaf (and we think you do), you know we're a fun-loving bunch. If you remember our Birth-iversary celebration in April (and we hope you do), you also know we're not afraid to get a little funky and silly when we get in a festive spirit.

In fact, with the holiday season upon us now, we're feeling so festively funky, we decided to throw another Facebook virtual party à la Seinfeld. Yes, that's right! It's a Festivus miracle!

In the spirit of season, we updated our logo and will be tweaking some of the Festivus traditions:

• The Feats of Strength will become the Feats of Syllables. You know we love haikus, so how about a little haiku gift exchange? We'll write ours if you write yours!

• Every Friday, the Airing of Giveaways will replace the Airing of Grievances (let's face it: who doesn't love giveaways?).

• We'll have Festivus polls instead of the hallmark Festivus pole (because we, too, find tinsel distracting).

• And, since this is the first year without Oprah and her famously Favorite Things, we'll feature our own Favorite Things throughout the week (sans the whole giving-every-single-thing-away thing--that's what the Airing of Giveaways are for!).

The celebrations will kick off TODAY, Wednesday, November 30 and will run through Friday, December 23--the day of Festivus!
